REAL PROBLEMS / PRACTICAL SOFTWARE

Different problems.
Real-world work.

A selection of the systems and specialist tools we have built since 2008—from early systems that have remained useful for over a decade to new AI-led products.

A FEW EXAMPLES

Work with
substance.

From practical tools for a local business to platforms operating across continents, our work takes its shape from the problem—not the size of the organisation.

01 / BUILDING OPERATIONSDATA · INTEGRATION · CONTINUITY

Making buildings easier to understand and manage.

When building data is scattered across networks and sites, faults can hide in plain sight. We developed a multi-tenant building-management platform that collected and processed data from BACnet, Trend, LONWorks and Cylon networks, alongside IoT cloud-connected sensors. It brought readings, building and asset records, alarms, device controls, maintenance workflows, imports and energy reporting into one operational picture across different sites.

That visibility helped teams find faulty points and poor configurations that are hard to spot one device at a time—including neighbouring systems continuously heating and cooling against one another. Live feeds of data were presented on 3D models of the building with realtime and historic tracing of the sensor data. The platform has been used in prominent buildings in London, Dubai, the United States, Australia and others.

02 / VISITOR EXPERIENCESOPERATIONS · AUTOMATION · APPS

Joining up the work behind a visitor experience.

For a leisure operator, we built an interconnected suite covering staff rostering, vessel management, staff reviews, tills, customer contact and reporting. Instead of treating each function as a separate software problem, we developed tools around how the business worked as a whole, working within the initially disjointed configuration they had developed over years of operation, while helping them move towards a smoother process.

The result was a connected operational system spanning both customer-facing activity and the processes behind it and complete data consistency

03 / EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENTDEVICES · ANALYTICS · OWNERSHIP

Improving your workforce

We worked on an executive-development programme combining executive surveys and assessment, heart-rate analysis, embedded-device firmware, a substantial companion app and complex models for executive assessment and improvement.

We also helped bring an expensive external software system in-house, migrating from BigQuery to a portable MariaDB implementation and helping the organisation recruit an internal team to support the product.

04 / RETAIL INTELLIGENCEPREDICTION · AI · PRODUCT

Turning market signals into product decisions.

For a new wholesale-to-retail decision-making system, we developed a browser extension that captures market content and a numerical model using XGBoost to estimate resale values and potential profit.

The wider product brings together real-time voice, AI chat and agents, AI-assisted analysis and content, and image and video generation. The predictive model and the language-based AI features each do a different job within the same workflow.

05 / LIVE EVENTSBOOKING · WORKFLOWS · CONTENT

From booking an act to promoting an event.

We built a system for booking performers at nationwide venues and producing social-media advertisements for the resulting events. It connects a specialist scheduling task with the promotional work that followed it.

06 / DIGITAL ASSETSTRANSACTIONS · INTEGRATION · FINANCE

Connecting digital assets to financial workflows.

We integrated cryptocurrency wallet services, cross-network bridges and swaps into a broader financial-services platform. That meant connecting specialist providers with transaction flows, status updates and the interfaces around them, so digital-asset operations could sit alongside the wider offering.

WHAT COULD WE BUILD TOGETHER?
